    Yea the point is that but... do pc players really complain about old mobile flankers??
    The only ones complaining about them are console players , but on pc there are many polls that proves that people liked the old mobility meta more than the current one.
    Its a fact, only people with bad aim complain about mobility lol, nobody can deny this.
    The problem on console however can be fixed easly, there is a thing called AIM ASSIST that works in most of fps.
    Just improve it, we already have huge hitboxes , fast projectiles and CC skills, do we need more??
    Old flankers = perfection
    Bursty dmg dealers with a "flank" tag under their name = ultra gay

    Dude, players on pc complained about the mobility.
    Androx old neather step (almost always have a dash) could give him 4 dashes if spaced out correctly, evie could teleport across a fishmarket. The nerfs were made to these guys to give them less control and chase over the map and force them to abide by positioning and reduce the ammount of environmental options they can escape to.

    A player who knows these champs by muscle memory and map awereness can abuse these features hardcore. To say that its a console issue... sounds as if you honestly do not play enough FPS titles with a mouse to know what a mouse can do over a controller.

    The use of Mobility on console is garbage, with lackluster reactive aiming, and less ability to snap aim after using a mobility option, there is more time to punish foes. Plugging in a mouse and keyboard into a console is met with a various abount of sensetivity problems that are also quite limiting compared to pc.

    The console community did not have a big grumble about mobility as majority of the champions subject to mobility nerfs were not top performers on console anyway.

    Talking about aim assist. The game on console already has aim assist. As stated Mobility on console is garbage, with lackluster reactive aiming making aggessive play slightly slower. At one stage it was too strong that it warped a players aim and made it physically harder to hit a foe in some cases. More so, just stating aim assist will solve issues on consoles.... it won't. A controller may be less reactive and snappy, but it is still fantastic at tracking and following targets, a feature which is sometimes counteracted by aim assist, especially how paladins aim assist works.

    As for common opionions and polls, most of the playerbase who speak here are rarely dedicated veterens keen on assisting to the games performace, most are casuals who have no clue what balence is and make biased assumptions, I would not use polls made by the people here for balencing reasons. Only to gather opionion.

    I'm going to make this simple and clear

    1) some mobility nerfs were needed even on pc.
    Accelerant bk knockback was too much, but it could be reduced instead of being completely removed. They nerfed from 60 to 50% at first but they should have kept decreasing the number instead of reworking the talent.
    40% is probably a balanced a good compromize, or keep 50% but add self damage like a real sticky jump from tf2.
    I mean... why reworking it?? Bombking is an high skill champion, poppy was not press 1 button to excape... his mobility should be high again but hard to use.
    Teleport needed a nerf, this is true, that range was too much for a spammable blink that also self heals.
    Andro's dash was fine, he didn't have semiauto spam bullshit , he just had good mobility. Back in the day when he used to require aim, managing your dashes and abusing it wasn't enough to be "OP".
    That talent was rewarding only in good hands, spamming dashes without hitting a shot is simply useless.
    It was one of that talents that only good players could use as well, like overthemoon and rougegambit.
    The rest of the nerfs were pointless and bad, they were compensated with stupid damage buffs.
    Drogoz thrust was fine, buck was a real flanker with 2 jumps, meave triple jump wasn't even great, same for pip double jump, willo's mobility was already trash.
    So... some nerfs were necessary(evie teleport), some pointless (willo range and speed) and some could have been done in a better way (bk accelerant)

    2) the current mobility is trash.
    We should have high mobility back, not just by press 1 button tho.
    We still need a better mobility than this crappy limited one.
    Expecially for flankers and supports

    So find a good compromize between hypermobility and limited mobility, because paladins rn isn't enjoyable and neither competitive.
    As I said before: high skill cap , high mobility.
    More wall jumps, rocket jumps and sticky jumps instead of dumb shitty rushes like moji's one.

    I do like the idea of rocket jumping and other high skill maneuvers like that,

    but how is someone else going to chase them down?
