Grover's Cripple is very central to his viability right now, but he doesn't heal as much as other supports and requires the tanks to play around him, which wouldn't be an issue except that he's just not as good

Grover is like Khan, to get the best out of him you need some decent team play. But he's actually a really strong healer when played right. That passive heal is deceptively powerful, especially with Efflorescence and the radius increase card. Once they made his heals go through walls he became easily one of the strongest healers in the game. His only issue is his close range damage is laughable and he has too low of HP for such a big target.

A good healer yes but I feel that his sustain is just too low for tanks like Inara or Makoa

He has less burst heal and single target heal than other supports, but his passive heal and AoE heal is really good. At the end of the game grover often has bigger healing numbers than other supports.
He is not good at keeping a single target alive, but he's good at keeping the team alive.

What he needs is more HP so he can actually stay near the front lines he wants to heal without getting focused and burst down. And more dmg. It sucks since they nerfed it a few patches ago.

Agreed to the damage and HP part but Blossom could use a buff in either CD or amount

I kinda feel that grover doesn't need a buff but just some recent nerfs reverted, at least partly.
    Revert blossom nerf.
At least partly revert dmg and health nerf

And then give his ultimate a minimum heal that can't be reduced by caut.
Then grover will be back in the meta again.
