Can We Give Grover a Reverse Furia Mechanic?

The more Furia heals, the faster her weapon fires increasing her DPS substantially. I realize Furia overall might need a slight tone-down, but I like the idea. Consequently, I thought the reverse mechanic for Grover would be pretty cool and help push him back into the meta. A couple ideas:

    1) The more damage Grover deals with main fire, the more his passive healing increases.

    2) Each successful axe hit reduces the cool down of Bloom by "X" seconds (whatever is balanced)

    3) Grover dealing main fire damage charges a bar that increases the healing of Bloom by "X" amount (whatever is balanced).

Something like this, I feel, would fit well with his intended design of being a more aggressive healer from a damage perspective. But this way one flows into the other, just like Furia, except opposite. Thoughts?

    4) Enemies and allies dying near Grover fertilize him, increasing his healing, attack speed and health.

    That would be interesting
but i feel like Grover has a really odd kit right now, since he was designed to have a melee weapon, and that's gone now
he might need some changes to make this work
    Top Damage on Makoa: 160k
    Top Eliminations on Makoa: 71
Top Healing on Makoa: HIREZ LET MAKOA HEALLLLLLL
Top Objective Time on Makoa: Who gives a fuck

Grover deeds to be less divable and needs some better DR and trading damage in trading combat, but his base damage and underwhelming damage on the cripple cause him to be poor in close quarters.

He could do with a Melee strike tied to the reload key...

This is exactly the kind of change Grover needs. Grover is my main but his kit is lacking. A mechanic added to his kit would make him more fun and viable.

If Grover's dmg is going to be so low he may as well get rewarded for landing axes.

Even something like damage reduction for landing axes would be good. His current damage reduction is a JOKE.

An alternative for the elimination build would be nice.

I like both. But... Furia doesn't need any tone down. Other supports need tone up.
    I've finally found it!

Healing Allies, increases the damage the next axe will do?
Both Passive and Blossom Healing to slowly fill a meter over time while not firing.
Next axe gets up to +200 damage (before scaling) depending on the level of the meter.
