    replay command is useless??

We wanted to be in the paladins top 5 plays.

Well we cant, it only happens when someone spectates on every single game we play. Which no one will be dumb enough to do that. People make plays not only with their skill. But the given situation which is luck. Does not happen consistently.

I dont know why they added the "must spectate" thing.

But isn't it unfair, when pro players or streamers being spectated all the time get to have their game recorded while we normies dont. "normies" :P

We want that too. Or maybe give us the chance to download the files

(i know there are auto replay screen recorder thing, but the /replay command is a whole diffrent thing than just a screen capture)

I think because recording each single game would require a massive space in the servers which will cost them more.

What they should do is something similar to what Epic games do in Fortnite, here is synthesis on how they do it: https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/e...-replay-system

why not store the demo for only 24H like then it will be deleted, in the time, players can download their game locally and then it will be removed from the server to leave space for other demos

It would still require a very huge space, there are thousands of games that are played daily which would require hundreds of Terabytes, and this is expensive.

It is the command to record demo on the client, which is your PC, unlike demo from server which is what /replay is for.

First it is /demorec x to start recording, where x is the name of the file you want to use, then /playdemo or /demoplay x to watch it. You can stop both recording and watching with /stopdemo. There were some issues with it around year and a half ago.
