    Grover needs Buffs

    Okay, im trying to get back into paladins since i quit for some time and there is a problem. Grover is really bad. And I would like to play him if he was.. good.. You see no one playing Grover so change that? Maybe instead of him dealing more damage when he is away from enemies he should do more damage as he gets closer because that will get people to actually get close and fight enemies instead of staying back.
    Either that or you can just give him the damage that he has in Realm Royale. 800 Damage per shot.

    800 too much for a support but 500 would be fine. i think

    800? I know pip can do that with catalyst but i don't like that idea for grover per axe.

    I think he needs a buff around his heals again?

    And buff his hp.

    If we buff his heals either Reduce it's CD or increase the Heals and the health buff is a must for him give him 2600 or more.

    Yeah i'd like the reduce CD, idk about how other support mains feel about it but I think it should be lowered too.

    12 second base CD and it is the lowest burst heal of all the Burst healers with the highest CD yes it could really use that CD reduction buff say about 8 second CD for it.

    Because of the mechanics of vine and his weapon being a throwing hatchet, I believe he would be more balanced, as well as more interesting if he were reworked to be more durable and close range.


    Keeping these things in mind:
    1. His heal requires him to be closer to those he is healing (even with cards to buff the range)
    2. His ultimate requires him to be closer to those he is healing (often involves jumping in the middle of the action)
    3. His vine mechanic allows him to jump into and out of action near the frontline (or to flank enemies)
    4. He is easily one of the two most unreliable healers of the supports (he puts out good numbers but a team with Grover as the healer will die more often because he cannot spot heal very well, and his ultimate is rarely available when it is needed most)
    5. Grover can pull himself towards allies, but this has no beneficial support effect (there is so much potential to make this into a unique support mechanic)
    6. Grover cannot pull himself toward enemy targets


    Solutions to balance him and make his game-play more interesting:
    1. Increase Grover's baseline damage and reverse the damage increase effect of his hatchet (increase his damage the CLOSER you are) Being a hatchet sniper is just ridiculous and it often distances him from healing his allies.....

    2. Adjust vine to damage enemy targets when Grover passes through them or allow Grover to pull himself towards enemy targets and deal damage when doing so (piercing a target with a massive vine full of thorns does nothing????)

    3. Adjust vine to heal an ally (and or provide damage reduction by coating the ally in a protective bark-like armor) when Grover pulls himself towards an ally

    4. Boost Grover's base HP to be the highest of the supports (Grover and Grohk should have significantly more HP than Seris, Pip, Mal'Damba, and Furia)

    5. Adjust Grover's Ability Cards:

    Efflorescence
    - No changes (it is balanced and is the most popular ability card choice)

    Crippling Throw
    - Add a damage over time "bleeding" effect (thorns)

    Ferocity:
    - Increase damage the closer you are to your target and increase Grover's base HP (or leave this ability the way it is to allow players to continue playing Grover as a "hatchet sniper...")

    Rampant Blooming
    - Add a damage reduction effect

    Just Remove his damage nerf. He was a good sniper. He has got so much handicap what balance this advantage.

    Also make his heal 1000 or 1100?
