    In a word, yes. There's a reason Ruckus has that chase/escape move he has. He can go in and out of battle pretty quickly. You're not supposed to use him like say a Fernando..

    Yeah if you spec for mobility. Before this patch I could still solo tank with ruckus. Now if you pick him as only tank (which happens a lot in casual solo queue), it's an automatic loss, doesn't matter how tanky you build him. You have to play him like a damage champ, but why bother when there are better damage champs? He's slow, his damage is not as good as an actual damage class (after 3 damage nerfs) and now he is even easier to kill.

    ok bro, let me tell you about paladins clases
    Frontilines
    OffTanks: Tanks with support skills or nice damage, they have lower defense and don't hold the point so much.
    Main tanks: Often lack damage or range, have way better ways to stay alive, better at point.

    Damage:
    Snipers, This ones burst damage without damage fall off, great at big maps.
    Blasters: Good against 2 tanks comps and grouped enemies, do blast damage this ones don't have damage fall off.
    DPS: The highest DPS champions are here, but these ones have much less burst, they do direct damage and have damage fall off.

    Supports:
    Side support: support that have a non healer Talent on, mostly helps with cc and buffs, but they often do nice damage to.
    Main Support: Heal a lot, but they help in other ways to.

    Rockus is only good as an Off tank so yes, you should never go ruckus Solo Tank. Or Point flank if you want to call them like that.
    Fav champions

    Front: Fernando, Ash & Rockus
    Support: Mal´Damba & Pip
    Dmg: Pip & Lian
    Flank: Fernando ; ), Talus, zhin. (Yes i suck at flanking).

    U were able to solo tank with a champ that has 1k dps which goes up to 2k dps with rocket barrage , and u are wondering why he got nerfed??

    Its obvious that HiRez wants ruck to be an offtank/dps when they reworked his Dmg-Reduction ability to rockets.

    No no no. At base his escape is great. Being a off Tank has always been his thing. I think your issue is the competition. 1v1 on the point only other Frontlines Ruckus could beat is Ash and Torvald. Unless it's against scrubs you're not gonna tell me you're mowing down a Terminus, Fernando, Makoa, etc.

    If Ruckus needs a real frontliner to stay in front of him, then he is not really a "frontliner", is he?

    They need to make another class category called " bruiser" and end this confusion once and for all. Simple as that.

    YES
    Its more, shoot the baddies off my allies, zone fuckers away from every angle they try to take, only until we have the advantage do I sit on the point and start blasting them from every hole they come from or zone them out of every foothold they can mount against the point. Ruckus never really has to put himself out into the fray of things unless it is a 1v1. Any more he backs of and zones them. If he holds a key position where he can apply damage to the point, cover the flank routes, and retreat to cover to receive healing then he is a very hard to take down tank when played with creativity. 500HP is nothing when you get 500hp every missile you spew.
