Thread: [Frontliner Champion Concept] Bork, the Beast

    Bork, the Beast (Frontliner)

    Brief Description:
    Bork is a big creature that behaves like an animal, walking like a gorilla while carrying a club with his right hand that rests on his shoulder. He is the leader of a tribe located in a very hostile forest, and therefore needs to be aggressive to survive in his harsh homeland. He sets a territory and protects it violently. As the leader of his tribe, Bork also carries the Mystical Club, a weapon that possesses a magical force which gives the tribe strength and health.

    As for gameplay, Bork is supposed to be a tank with heavy damage dealing in a short range. He would probably do better with double tank or with a support that also deals decent damage, since he can protect them and boost their damage.

    Base Stats
    Health: 4700 HP
    Speed: 365
    Size: Same as makoa's

    Abilities

    Passive Debuff: Since Bork carries a heavy club and needs to use his hands to move faster, he moves 25% slower while attacking. As compensation, he doesn't have a delay to return to normal speed once you stop attacking (like Inara does).

    [LMB] Claws
    Swing your claws rapidly up to three times, hitting enemies in a cone in front of you for 200 damage each 0.25s, then perform a heavy hit that takes 0.4 second and deals 400 damage while also slowing enemies hit by 30% for 1s.
    - Works like Terminus' melee in range and area. There is no reload but has a delay of 0.45s to continue attacking after your heavy hit.
    - The attacks are not a burst. You will continue attacking with your combo for as long as you press LMB (or repeatedly click it).


    [RMB] Swing Club
    Swing your club in a 180° degree cone in front of you, dealing 500 damage to all enemies hit and stunning the aimed enemy for 1.5 second.
    - 12 seconds cooldown. If you do not aim at anyone, the first enemy hit will get stunned instead.
    - The full swing back and forth takes a total of 0.9s (but deals no additional damage when he is putting his club back in his shoulder).

    [Q] War Totem
    Stick your mystic club to the ground, granting 15% more damage done and less damage taken to you and allies within its radius. The totem can take up to 1500 damage before falling down and losing its power. Otherwise, it lasts for 5 seconds.
    - 10 seconds cooldown. Starts when the totem is destroyed or expired. Has the range of grohk's totem.
    - The player needs to get his club after the effect. He can also take it back anytime by pressing Q again while near it (which triggers the cooldown).
    - When Bork is not carrying his club, he can attack with 100% speed, but cannot use his RMB. Bork always respawns with the club.

    [F] Beast's Lunge
    Leaps forward. If you have your club in your hand, you attack enemies on landing, dealing 500 damage to them.
    - 10 seconds cooldown. Has a range of 50 units.

    [E] Survivor Instinct
    Bork instantly reacquires his club and gains its effects while also healing himself for 80% of his maximum health. He then roars and enters a state of fury for 4 seconds, attacking with his club rather than his claws, dealing 800 damage every 0.85s.
    - Has a activation time of 1s when Bork is roaring and he is immobile for the duration.
    - You cannot deploy your totem during your ultimate.

    Talents

    Battlecry
    Reloading makes you perform a Battlecry, granting a 30% buff to attack speed for 3 seconds. This can happen once every 10 seconds.
    - There is a time meter below your cursor allowing you to know when the effect is off-cooldown.

    Defending Totem
    The War Totem has 500 more health and protects for 15% more.

    Savage Beast
    You Swing Club now stuns all of the enemies you hit.

    Magic Force
    You can pull your club back to you anytime as long as you're close to it in a 150ft radius.

    Cards

    Card 1: Gain {100|100} health.
    Card 2: Gain {14|14}% crowd control and slow reduction.
    Card 3: Eliminations reduce all active cooldowns by {8|8}%.
    Card 4: Gain {6|6}% lifesteal on enemies hit by your heavy swing for 2s.

    Card 5: Move {3|3}% faster without the club.
    Card 6: Gain {6|6}% lifesteal on enemies hit with Swing Club for 2s.
    Card 7: Slow all enemies hit with Swing Club by {5|5}% for 2s.
    Card 8: Move {5|5]% faster for 3s after your Swing Club.

    Card 9: War Totem increases healing received by {6|6}%.
    Card 10: Increase the area of War Totem by {10|10}%.
    Card 11: War Totem gets a {100|100} shield every 3s while it's active.
    Card 12: Increase the duration of War Totem by {0.4|0.4}s.

    Card 13: Beast's Lunge grants you a {150|150} shield for 2s.
    Card 14: Increase the distance of Beast's Lunge by {6|6}%.
    Card 15: Beast's Lunge grants a {7|7}% speed boost for 2s.
    Card 16: Enemies hit by Beast's Lunge are slowed by {5|5}% for 2s.

    - There is no reload but has a delay of 0.2s to start attacking and also after every second you continuously attack.


    RMB - Alternate Attack: Swing Club
    Swing your club in a 180° degree cone in front of you, dealing 700 damage to all enemies hit and slowing them by 30% for 1.5 second. Can aim at the enemies' head to stun them for 1.5 second instead.
    - 10 seconds cooldown.
    - Activation time of 0.4s and the full swing back and forth takes a total of 0.5s (but deals no additional damage when he is putting his club back in his shoulder).
    - The stun/slow has a minimum duration of 0.5s.

    Q- Ability 1: War Totem
    Stick your mystic club to the ground, granting 15% buff to damage done and 30% reduction to damage taken to allies within its radius. The totem can take up to 1800 damage before falling down and losing its power or after 7 seconds.
    - 15 seconds cooldown. Has the range of grohk's totem.
    - The player needs to get his club after the effect. He can also take it back anytime by pressing Q again while near it.
    - When Bork is not carrying his club, he can attack with 100% speed, but cannot use his RMB.
    - Bork always respawn with the club.

    F - Ability 2: Beast's Lunge
    Jumps forward in an arch, attacking enemies on landing, dealing 500 damage to them or 300 damage if not using his club.
    - 10 seconds cooldown. Has a range of 50.

    E - Ultimate: Survivor Instinct
    Roar to intimidate your enemies, then enters a state of fury for 5 seconds where all of your attacks gain 100% lifesteal and you take 60% less damage from all attacks.
    - Has a activation time of 1s when Bork is roaring and he is immobile for the duration.

    Legendaries:

    (Default) Battlecry: The roaring from Survivor Instinct slows enemies around you by 50% for 2 seconds.
    - The effect has about the same radius of Ash's ult.

    Defending Totem: The War Totem has 200 more health and protects for 20% more, but no longer grants bonus damage.

    Savage Beast: Gains 20% lifesteal on enemies hit by your club (RMB) for 1.5s.
    - Stacks with life rip.
    I like the concept and the lore... It feels pretty simple and effective to have a wild tribal leader with domination issues in your team .


    I will recommend a few changes that will make him less complicated but with the same playstyle!

    1) His LMB should be a simple AoE damage (not hit 2 targets)!
    He should deal 3 quick swings for 200 damage and one heavy swing that slows for 1sec and deals 200 damage!
    He needs 0.25sec to prepare his quick swings and 0.4sec to prepare his heavy swing!
    It will work similar to Zhin's weapon but without ammo!

    2) His RMB should always stun enemies for 0.5sec! No slow here... The has moved to his LMB!
    *It is easy to hit headshots with melee attacks so it would be quite OP and complicated as you suggested it.

    3A) Here is what gives Bork his identity as a champion! His club - totem of war!
    He will be the only champion who can leave his weapon to the ground allowing the enemy team to zone him and not letting him take it!
    Without his club he is weak but with his club he is a beast!
    His totem can be used as shield considering its HP.

    3B) Reduce the cooldown of Totem of War to 10sec!
    The ability won't go on cooldown until the Totem is naturalized or expire!
    This will make sure that Bulldozer won't reduce the time between the Totems by destroying them quickly!

    4) His F should have a shorter cooldown considering that he is a melee champion!
    The cooldown should be reduced to 7sec!
    His F ability should also deal 0 damage without the club!
    This will give Bork a decision making playstyle!

    5) To make it more simple, his ultimate should give him the same bonuses with Totem of War (30% less dmg, 15% more attack) together with the life steal but it should also fill up his HP (like Makoa but no bonus hp)!
    The duration should be the same (7sec) as his totem and he will regain his club if he lost it before the ultimate!

    So to sum up his new ultimate... Same as his Totem of War but with extra 100% life rip and full health restore! Simple and effective right?


    I believe that this champion has very good potential!
    His club makes him unique together with his melee primary attack that gives free slow!

    I hope Hirez gets inspired !
