Thread: Bard Support: Grimm, the Song Spinner

    Bard Support: Grimm, the Song Spinner

    This is my attempt at a Bard healer. I had been thinking for awhile how to make it work, and finally had an idea. Please tell me what you think below in the comments. Grimm's instrument is a mandolin.

    LMB: Dischord
    Grimm plays a discordant sound every second, dealing 400 damage in an area around him.

    These following abilities affect those with Line of Sight. Cooldowns of these abilities are equal to the amount of time Grimm used them. The abilities may be cancelled at any point by pressing the button again. Grimm may not attack during these abilities.

    RMB: Song of Redemption
    Heals yourself and allies for 500 Health per second.

    Q: Song of Expulsion
    Knocks back enemies every 1 second. The knockback affect is decreased based on how far away enemies are from Grimm.

    F: Song of Flight
    Increases speed of yourself and allies equal to missing percentage of Health.

    E: Mystic Chord
    Grimm stops in place, becomes CC Immune, and plays a chord. This launches a wave forward. Allies it hits are healed for 1000 Health and gain 50% movement speed for 4 seconds.

    Honestly any champion idea related to music I'm pretty much instantly for, however I do have a few questions.
    What would the cool down be for each?
    For the song of redemption how long would that last?
    And lastly any idea what his ultimate would be?

    I already explained all of these questions in the original post. The cool down is equal to how long they were used. Songs may be used indefinitely, but that just makes them take longer to use. The E is the Ultimate.

    Ah okay, I apologize I must've missed that. Whoops
    Grimm sounds kind of like a ghoulish name, would he be some sort of ghoul or skeleton?

    He could use some more health though.

    Hey, somebody gets it! I like having Grimm as a bit squishier of a target, and having lower Health also means he gets faster sooner with Song of Flight.

    Anyway, using this skill with 20% life would give 80% movement speed.
    Like a meave you can run away to heal

    Or use it by your front lines, so they get increasingly harder to hit.

    Ok, the last one I have to check!

    are we supposed to hear those discordant sounds throughout the whole game? Because I think this would make Grimm and insta-not-picking ^^'
    Serious again, which is the radius of this area?

    are they just knockback (while performing the same action as before), or are their action reset somehow?

    And the most important thing. Have it just to be a mandolin? I want a drum set. And who cares if it's bulky to drag all over the map :___(

    Well, I actually don't mean discordant. More of playing the minor chord, which has that weird sharp/flat partway through, to sound creepy. Radius is a little larger than Grohk's basic totem.

    Song of Expulsion is just knockback. They still have complete control, and if they are using an ability they are now in the air and backwards, using an ability.
