Make him a better healer than a damager/"flanker"

Most pip ive partied with or fought against are really bad "flankers"

If my team has flank pip 96% of the time we lost. And if the enemy has the "flank" pip we steam roll over them easy...

For the record Ive ask before the match start if they are "flank" pip so I can set my cards to compensate, but most of them just troll and never answers. There are RAREoccasions that pip actally heals by the last round and I have no cards for rejuvenate...

Also to those "flank" pip wannabes true Flank Pip actually heals his teammate while killing everyone on the enemy team (I partied one time with an actual flank pip)

This is the fault of the players, not the design of Pip.

Pip is just often played wrong, the point of him is being a secondary support, who deals damage on point, heal a little here and there, and slows.

No shush, don't make us Pip mains suffer just because there are bad players. He's fine as he is.
