I think mal damba should be able to put a shield on another player. His gourd could give a temporary shield and health. His mending spirit could be changed to do this. If you do not change his mending spirit then it should also apply some sort of damage resistance temporarily. Mending spirits is hard to hit team mates that have a small frame. His slither distance should be increased. The card that has this affect requires too many points to be worth reward

I think mal damba is fine how he is now, no need to make a superman, if you already got a batman...

yup, Mal is at pretty decent spot at the moment, no need to rework him.

the only change i think is when he throws his snake at allies it heals them based on the ammo in it

Mal'Damba's only issue right now is the way his stun shot works on reload. It's easily exploitable without diminishing returns or a mechanic which causes him to not be able to shoot-reload-shoot-reload a player to oblivion.

Playing Mal'damba a lot lately, it's actually my favorite support since they crippled Ying & Grohk heavily ... and he is still useful in later rounds even when everyone has cauterize 3 (or in other words: the make support chars useless card). The only thing missing right now is at least one skin for Mal'damba. Just a color change is like having nothing at all >.>

I think making the snake throw only do a slow when X amount of ammo remains would help reduce the spammability of its stun. Maldamba will still have a form of crowd control with the snake throw, but it won't shutdown frontliners like Makoa and Fernando.

Maldamba is great as he is, IMO.
